A Unique CRM Experience

The Challenge

Cannabis brand Spinach was looking for a creative way to connect with comedy lovers. By tapping into one of the country’s largest comedy networks, they wanted to create an opportunity for fans to sign up to their database, and in return, give them an unexpected and memorable introduction to the brand.

The Solution

MOUSE Marketing put together a program for Spinach to engage comedy fans at the Just for Laughs (JFL) box office. Each qualified attendee who signed up on the spot through a digital CRM app via iPad was given a special VIP Fastpass to jump the massive line and gain entry into Spinach’s exclusive VIP lounge.

JFL customers were thrilled when they walked into a fully immersive brand experience filled with fun and engaging installations, including a giant vegetable garden with an “eggplant photo moment” that got fans laughing.  Upon entering, each guest received a complimentary Ceasar cocktail with a DIY interactive condiment station filled with fresh garden ingredients.

The Results

Hundreds of highly-targeted JFL attendees entered the CRM database throughout the week-long festival. These fans enjoyed an unforgettable brand experience, a free drink, a laugh and a newfound awareness of the Spinach brand. This CRM campaign allows for immediate and ongoing engagement with fans through follow-up marketing communications to their database.

The space looked amazing and consumers absolutely loved the fun, fresh, on-brand interactive stations.
